In early 2024, the Tri-City Chamber of Commerce received a grant from the Center for Rural Development ARC Flex-E-Grant program to create a facade grant program for the Tri-Cities.

The facade improvement reimbursement program is designed to enhance the appearance and condition of commercial structures in downtown Cumberland, Benham, and Lynch, Kentucky. Improving the appearance of building facades supports local businesses and can significantly impact outside investment and the marketability of our surrounding area.

Currently, the grant program is a reimbursement program that provides limited financial assistance to businesses and property owners interested in renovating the facade of their building.  The funding provided will be for material and supplies with the criteria have been met.  
Recipients are responsible for submitting all necessary documents to be reimbursed.  If you own a business on Main Street in Cumberland, Benham, and Lynch and would like to submit an application you can download the application here or request one by emailing tcchamber@blackbearmtn.org.
